Thread: 2009 CLF Annual Group Cruise ..when?

We are about to begin our planning for our 3rd annual CLF group cruise. There will be a few polls for our members to vote on. The first will be this one. What month would be your choice?

Please note that June and July are lumped together as is August and September.
These months never seem to be too popular for sailing.

Also please note that this poll will run for 60 days to give you plenty of time to make up your mind.

Itineraries and cruise ship lines polls will follow shortly. (or as soon as itineraries are out!).

I voted for May.

1. It is before school is out
2. It is after Spring Break
3. It is before hurricane season if the Caribbean is chosen as the destination
4. The weather is generally nice anywhere a cruiseship sails in May
5. It is midway between paying off last Christmas and buying for the next
6. Tax refunds can be used for final payment

(but we are flexible )

Voted March, although I'm not totally sure we'll be able to go. We've already tentatively booked a month in Europe for April/May. The Loonie may be strong, but not that strong.

Voted April .... but thinking End of April or First of May for the same reasons Char gave.

Note: Some college kids get out about mid-May!

So nobody else wants to go?

I voted for March. It is cold here in March and I love to go away to somewhere warm during the cold months. Actually it is colder in Feb or January, but already have plans for those months. Oh sugarpeas! Just hope it is not during spring break.

I vote Oct. I can see my parents and it is the easiest time that dad and Dean can take off from work.

I voted for October due to kids are back in school and it's our anniversary.

At this point November is in the lead.
