At the captian's reception, on a number of occasions, I have seen little girls in their little child's formals 'dancing' in their father's arms, or with a foot on each of their father's feet...
It's a real "Awwwww" moment.

Danced with bf, and then with hubby (same guy, less hair). Girl danced by herself, with other kids and also with the waiters during their dining room dances.

My DH dances much better than I do. Normally, I encourage him to dance with someone who is alone or who is with a HD doesn't so they can have some fun.
FUNNY TRUE STORY: A man can over to our table and ask my DH if he could ask me to dance. I told this man that I would be happy to dance with him ... but I didn't dance very well. He said, "I KNOW! That's WHY I want you dance with you. I don't dance well either and you won't make me look that bad on the dance floor!"
