In the early 70's I worked near a mall and we would go there for our hour lunch. I made the mistake of doing that the day after Thanksgiving once! I have never gone out on that day since. Way too many people.
Since that time when I have had that day off I stay inside and start my Christmas decorating. Yesterday I never went outside. I should be able to finish the decorating today. (I go nuts with Christmas decorating).
I don't need to do Christmas shopping anymore as DH and I don't exchange, we get what we need as needed. Just a few aunts and uncles left and no kids. I just bring all my cookies around to friends and family and neighbors. They are done and in the freezer.

Hi John, yup the Holidays are in full swing!! The best time of the whole year, other than the cruise of course!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Definitely avoid the malls and shopping complexes.

So we stay home and I just post on Cruise Line Fans (when I am not cruising).

Since I had one of my knees operated on late Sept, I shopped for everything for Christmas online this year and it was great. It was so nice to find what I wanted and they shipped everything for me, so I will probably do it again next year.
