Well alrighty then ... I'll try this again!

Well ... that depends. If we are driving to Galveston to hop on the ship ... we get there day of. In October when we sail on the Mariner ... two days early. When we went on our Panama Canal cruise in January of 2004 we went down a day early just in case the weather was bad!

We go the day of the cruise in the US (remember, here in Florida we don't have bad weather to contend with) and if cruising in Europe we go the day or even a couple of days before to get over jet lag. For us, however, that isn't a big problem. We hit the ground in Europe when we arrive in the morning running and don't stop until after an early dinner, then bed. Next morning-NO JET-LAG!!!

Next cruise, July 12-26, 2008. NCL Jade 13 night cruise around the British Isles, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris.

We live in Florida but always do a pre and post. Gives us 9 days total, and no stress!!

Day of is my answer. We never get there the day before (and luckily we never get there the day after either) .

Depends on where our ship departs from...Florida and Europe - we're going in the day before (we like to stay overnight in Ft Lauderdale at Pier 66)

San Diego or LA? Too easy just to Southwest it over on the day of! I'm sure if I took a cruise form Galveston we'd fly in the day of as well.
