Okay, the question that's being asked is, "Would you go on a 'cruise line' you didn't like?"
I honestly feel that of all the major cruise lines, there's not one of them that's not good. (Boy, is that full of negatives or what?) In other words, in my opinion, all of the major cruise lines are very good. Obviously, some are better than others and some ships are better than others, but this is a generic question. And overall, I feel you will get a wonderful cruise on any of the major cruise lines if the ship and itinerary fits your budget, your lifestyle, your personality, and your expectations.
So, would I accept a free cruise except for taxes? Absolutely! Without hesitation! Any cruise is a good cruise - it's what you make of it.

Haven't been lucky to cruise on more than two lines so I can't answer the question. But I would imagine that if we did win a cruise on a line other than Carnival and Princess and we can select the date (we can only sailed at certain times of year), itinerary, and add our kid at our expense...I think we would accept it.

Your poll only poses one question...where do I sign up?!! I've always subscribed to the Middle English root of the word "adventure", meaning risk/danger, and try to meet the challenge of unfortunate events and attempt to turn them into positive experiences. This would be easy in this case as I could keep chanting the mantra "this is free...this is free".

The first cruise I ever went on I won in a sales contest (4 day Key West/Cozumel, Carnival Imagination) Unfortunately everything was absolutely perfect, weather, service, ports, so it sucked me in for life .
I've been limited on the cruise lines available in driving distance. We've been on Ecstasy twice and Rhapsody twice and have a Conquest booked as well as a Voyager.
Now our first was the Ecstasy and it was a contest cruise that I won. We thoroughly enjoyed and it hooked us for cruising.
Don't get me wrong with my next statement.
The Ecstasy is not one of your high end cruises and doesn't have the upper end luxury that a Princess or Cunard Line may have, but for us rednecks it was very satisfiable. Rhapsody was a couple of steps up the ladder and it was really comfortable.
I'm just saying"different strokes for different folks". Keep an open mind going in and you'll enjoy each and every one...we have so far.

I would definatly take it.
We have enjoyed all our cruises. Some were on ships that by today's standards were rather old and rundown. After a spring break cruise on Carnival I thought I would never cruise with them again but I have reconsided and may try them again.
