Thread: Are any of you talent show participants?

Do you or any of your cruise party ever participate in the cruise talent shows? If so what type of talent do you/they do? DD(10) has danced on the Elation and Disney Magic.

We do not participate since we don't possess any talent

Not now! Only back when we were YOUNG ... very young! (Like way back to Sitmar days ....)

I think I'm talented but no one else seems to feel that way so I avoid talent shows

There was the time that hubby decided our family was going to participate in family karoake. Unfortunately, the girl was just learning to read and hubby picked "Sea Cruise" because he thought it was appropriate and didn't realize we needed to do a song the girl knew by heart.

I used to do stand up comedy (just at open mics after taking a class) so when I saw "talent show" listed in the Carnival Capers on my first cruise, I started thinking I could write up an act in no time and try out. Then I read "no comedy." I guess they were concerned that the material could be risque.

So far we haven't yet seen the talent show or Princess Idol on any of the cruises we've been on.

No. But My Talent is watching the Talent show from my seat.

Neither of us has any talent, thus we never participate in the talent shows.
