Thread: Are any of you talent show participants?

no talent here, just like to watch the contestants

Yes, I have been in 3 talent shows singing and 1 Carnival Legend's show singing as Madonna. It was really a lot of fun doing the Legends show. The only time I was not in one was our first cruise.

My Son also sang as Garth Brooks. My ex-husband was a singer as well. Both my Sons are very talented singers and songwriters so I have a feeling it runs in the family. Anna

My daughter Jennifer is 25 and loves to participate in any of the talent shows. On the Carnival Liberty she was the only female selected to be in the show, there were two younger guys and and an older gentleman. She really loved singing in the main theater, her dad taught the band her song during rehearsal, and played with them when she sang. She sang one of her own original songs. It was so great and the audience was really into it and was great. She was on the cruise DVD which they gave her. So many of the crew and other passengers kept stopping her the rest of the cruise and telling her they either were there and loved it or saw her on their TV and loved it. She met so many people because of it and really had a wonderful time! She hopes to be in another one on the next cruise! She was also in the Crew/Passenger Lip Sinc show complete with lot's of great props, costumes. etc. on the Holland America Volendam. Got to really know the cruise director and her assistants really well. I love watching her in the talent shows! I wish all cruises had them!
