Thread: Travel Agent or Direct

Do you prefer a Travel Agent or prefer to book direct. I personnally like a TA due to the personalized service.

Travel agent for sure! When you have a good one, they are worth their weight in gold!

I'd go either way. Using a travel agent does have advantages.

I have done both and have to agree with what Ken said.

TA, if you have a problem the TA works for you, we have heard several instances here from cruisers trying to deal with cruiselines with few results!!

I always book direct, make all the arrangements then after final payment i give to friends of mine who are TA's...But to be brutally honest .. I haven't ran across a TA that can provide better service then the service I give myself..

All together now .. can we say "control Freak!"

Poor Reggie has to contend with me doing that too. Many times I find the cruise then turn it over to him.
