    Our TA always lets HAL know that we would be glad to take an upgrade. But since we always book Suites and there are very few Penthouse Suites on HAL, the chances of getting upgraded to one of them is ZERO!! Penthouse Suites on HAL sell out very quickly.

    Since we usually have an aft balcony (we book on the first day it's open), we say no upgrade. Of course, if they would offer us the penthouse suite, I might consider it.

    Penthouse suites are right below the aft balconies on the M class ships!

    We usually go with 3-4 in a room so no chance for an upgrade. Nurses don't make enough money to afford those high class suites!

    We've had good luck being upgraded from a balcony to a mini-suite or a full suite ... especially on Princess.

    Great poll, I always do a lot of research for my cabin so I ask for a no uprade!!
