We did go see one movie whilst on the Golden Princess... even though the bartender kinda warned us about it.

He was right. Always, ALWAYS, listen to your bartender!!

It was fun, though... but, I think in the future, unless it's a terrific movie we've really been wanting to see, I may skip the whole movie thing.

On most cruises I would say this is a no, but I do recall on the Festivale having a dedicated movie theatre on board and going to see somethin, just because we thought it was such a novelty.

On our last cruise on Caribbean Princess movies actually played a big part of the trip. We loved MUTS and would often spend entire day in, or around the pool. On the 2nd sea day I saw 3 full length movies while enjoying the sun, hot tubs and ocassional "adult beverage" We also went to MUTS one night to see "Evan Almighty".

During our first port day in St. Maarten our afternoon sailign tour was cancelled due to high winds ( wimps) I went back to the cabin to sleep for a while and my wife and mother in law caught a movie in the Princess Theatre. we did the same one night after dinner. A movie my wife wanted to see was playing in the Princess Theatre, I went to see "Phantom of the Opera" that was playing in the Explorers Lounge.

If I want to relax and don't want to be sociable, the movies is a great place to go.
