I did it Carol, white gown and all, it was wonderful!!

I picked Christmas. Just once I would love to see the ship all dressed up for the holidays!! I would take Dickie, and I wouldn't care where we went, but if it truly a "dream" cruise it would be a cruise to nowhere with all sea days!!

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

We got a chance to do our family dream cruise this last December.
Although the Ship was decorated fabulously and they had all the holiday treats and festivities, I missed our own tree and silly traditions at home.
We have cruised during the Easter vacation and that is just lovely!
We took a cruise for our honeymoon, so it seems only appropriate to celebrate our anniversary with a cruise.

We ALWAYS took a "New Year's" Cruise with our girls when they were still in school.

Honestly, no matter where we are and the fun we have, always sort of MISS being on a cruse ship on New Year's Eve!

Our last cruise was during Christmas/Hanukkah/New Years Eve. It was festive traveling to and from Hawaii during that time on a very decorated ship. I don't usually don't get to go to NYE parties (in the past 15 years or so, I've gone to bed right after midnight because the next day I was going to see UCLA play in the Rose Bowl; or because my hubby was working on NYE) so it was a treat to see the balloon drop and the other excitement surrounding the holiday.

I have also celebrated Valentines Day on a cruise (Mexican Riv.) and been on a Baja cruise during Easter.

One year, we went on a cruise 8 days after the girl's 7th birthday. So we celebrated onboard.

I picked anniversary. What's more romantic than cruising? And what better way to spend an anniversary? We've also cruised on Valentine's Day and it was fun and romantic, but I'd definitely like to cruise on my anniversary. We've cruised close to it, but never on the actual date.
