Thread: How many pairs of shoes do you take?

I ama in the maority on this poll . . .
(One dressy pair, one pair tennies, and a couple of pairs of sandals)
Except - substitute walking shoes for tennies.

Just packed our clothes and I hate to say it but DD(10) was worse than I am. I packed 4 pairs (2 dress, 1 flip flop,1 casual sandal, will wear ballet flats shoe on), DH 2 pair (sandals, dress shoes, will wear tennis shoes on), DS 1 pair (sandals, will wear tennis shoes on), DD 5 pairs (2 dress, 1 crocs, 1 flip flops, 1 ballet flats, will wear tennis shoes on.) I need a suitcase just for shoes .

I forgot. Make that 6 packed pairs of shoes for DD. DD is packing one more pair of shoes after dance classes today. Her tap shoes. And this is just a 5 day cruise

I'm getting lots better than I once was at taking too many shoes!

I was so proud that on this last cruise I took one pair of heels, two pairs of sandals and the pair I wore on the flight to Florida. Err but, ahhh, hmm, I found some great sandals in St Thomas and boutgh three pair!

Now aren't you glad you didn't take any more shoes than that! You never know when you will find those perfect ones that you can't leave in the store.

Last cruise - 4. 1 dress, 1 tennis, 1 schlep around, 1 other.

I think I took a pair of shoes, sneakers and sandals for almost every outfit I packed. I disregarded the advise to pack light. I learned my lesson and next time, I'll take a one pair of black dress shoes, two pairs of sandals (one casual and one dress) and one pair of white sneakers that go with everything.
