Thread: Advantages of using a travel agent

i guess im not as traveled as most so i dont have a per say agent the agent who booked me basically quoted me from the book. not sure if thats working very hard for me but im still going on a cruise.

Thanks David. I've enjoyed handling your cruise vacation
and hope we can sometime soon sail together. You and Becca are real people in my book too. I really enjoy how excited you are about your cruise, sorta like me every time I get on a ship.

My TA is wonderful. If I want her to reserch something she does and normally gets back with me within a days time. She tries to help us with reductions. She just got us a great deal on Carnival Freedom for Thanksgiving and then on top of that got us a reduction a couple of weeks ago of $160!

I use TA's for cruises. Mainly because the price is much better than booking with the cruise line.

I never use a TA for air or hotels. I always book air through the airline, same for the hotel.
