Not only would it save them a fortune in disposal costs of all the cans, but the syrup and soda are easier to handle all considered and would allow them to have a much wider selection. 7-11 does it, why can't the ships?
I agree, Coke really screws with my stomach, but Pepsi doesn't. So I will be smuggling Pepsi on board.

Non alcoholic drinks are allow to bring onboard

If the ship goes where you want to go when you want to go, then go.

Before we couldn't take liquid in our carry on I would bring a bottle of Dubonnet along to have some in my room. I brought it because most places don't have it. It's an apperatif, guess that is a kind of wine. No one ever took it away. I only did it on Princess and to be honest I never realized you weren't supposed to bring booze on board. I don't do it anymore as don't want to put it in my checked luggage. Now if I want to have a drink on my balcony I just get one at the bar and bring it back with me. I might have one drink a day on a cruise or less. Guess I'm not a big drinker.

Actually that dubonnet sounds good and I think I still have some in the frig, just might have to get me a glass of it.
