Good question Helen,
I prefer lots of port days...although, the Freedom Cruise only has three ports...but a bunch of great people!
Thanks for posting this...great one!
I love port days, but I like to have a couple of sea days tossed in the mix to help me relax. I'm so Type A, if we are stopped at a port I HAVE to get off the ship. Sea days force me to relax and enjoy all that the ship has to offer.

I like both. The sea days are relaxing and more layed back. You get to see the ship.
Heck, I would do a cruise to no where.

I like a mix. On cruises with a lot of port days, I tend to turn at least one or two of the port calls into "sea" days for myself.
I love sea days!! I would love a cruise to no where!!![]()
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
It's a toss up for me. I've done so few cruises, I like to see new places and this lets me. I'm not sure I'd go on a cruise with many sea days. It is definitely something to think about.

I'm fifty fifty on this one. I like going to new places or visiteen to being places that I have before. A cruise to nowhere or a ships private island for 5-7 days would also be great. just dock the boat, enjoy the beach or other water activities. (non-excursions).

I voted 50-50. I wouldn't book a cruise that didn't have some sea days. I adore them which is why I'm so fond of transatlantic cruises or roundtrip Hawaii cruises. But I also want to go to different ports and see new sights.
