    Exactly
And what a shame for that group form Coral Springs,
Hoping for a miracle for them.

    Unhappy

It is horrible to do it to anyone, but to do it to the elderly with a fixed income is criminal!!! Wish I had the $81 grand!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Doesnt mean this cant happen to travellers anywhere

This man and his agency were not only CLIA certified and recommended he was a brick and mortar agency not someone doing this from a spare room in thier home.
I hope some reporters from a Miami station set up their cameras in front of this agency or track down his home address. It's just unfortunate that it's holiday time and he may be out of town.

    Good evening,

Nobody should EVER deal with a TA who is not member of an IATA-affiliated organisation, not connected with a properly licended and registered agency with proper IATA affiliation, and him/herself not at least a graduate of a recognized Travel & tourism organisation.
There are a huge number of '' home-based TA ( I'm one of them ) but we ALL have to have the pre-requisite described above. I wouldn't even dream of ''presenting'' myself as a TA without those ( I carry my IATA picture ID card with me at all times...which also links me to the registered agency thru which I operate).
As a consumer, I wouldn't even consider enthrusting my travel projects to a '' TA'' without those pre-requisites, even if I knew that person for years and loved him/her to bits !!!
Other poiints raised by other posters ( i-e-;; E&O insurance, rpotection in case of default...) are also vital reasons why one never ought to deal with a non-licenced TA

    Cheers
    Claude
