I can with all honestly say that Preference and what we usually book as completely different. If I could I would book B2B 10 or 14 day cruises. I would love to stay on the ship for 30 days. But what do we almost always book 7 day cruises Oh if only DH and I had more vacations days and I had a job that would allow me to be gone for a longer period or time. As it is I cannot go before the 3 working day of any month and I cannot be gone the last couple of days of the month. Unfortunately that is the car business.

Our first cruise was a 7 night (way too short). Our second was a 13 night (loved it). Our next is a 15 night(can't wait), so I had to choose the 14 night option. Of course one of these days when we have the time and money, we would love to do a world cruise.

You generally get better deals on all cabins during a repositioning cruise.

They have become by favorite type of cruise, offering more days at less cost per day!!
We did the Noordam TA and paid about the same for 16 days as the folks on the 10 day voyages in Europe. They reduce prices but know it's likely you will spend more money on sea days, which there are generally more of. On our May 13 day Alaska cruise, we are not paying much if anything more than the 7 day cruises the Infinity will sail in Alaska!!

I think many of our Owls are also hooked on repositioning cruises!!

Although.............I'll take a 3 or 4 day cruise.......to be with friends, my preference is more than 7 days...........and actually more than 14 days. The best cruises to date are doing a transatlantic and staying aboard for one run at the end.

I like them all. Sometime I wish I lived on a cruise ship.

I choose 3/4 nights, but actually I usually book the 5 night cruises. While I'd prefer to never leave a cruise ship, the 5 nighter are a good sampling of the cruise vacation at a great price.
