Do you go on a Cruise to Relax & Recharge? Do you take it easy on port days?
Or are you on the go all the time, & need a vacation when you get home?
Do you do a bit of both?

we relax only on sea days.
the ports are the reason I cruise.
we always add a week at the beach to a cruise vacation

I wish I could add a week to cruises...lol.

Karyn & I have a bet
She has pretty much lost the bet, so this is her costume for 3 hours on the ship on the first day at sea

NO SA!!! Remind me to never make a bet with you...it must have been a doozy of a bet...

Is that the real Disney one? I saw them, and they are HUGE, they are stuffed...and will be a tad hot, don't you think? Does she have to wear the white tights and hat too??

Reasons why?

We do so much on our exciting excursions we can't really "party til the cows come home" or we'd be zombies the next day. So the party scene isn't really our thing. A drink or two in the bar, or after dinner on deck...but never the whole disco scene.

We get up early and do all the adventurous exciting excursions to our hearts content...and then collapse exhausted but happy when we get back. And then we do it all over again the next day, and the next...etc. If there is a sea day I might swim or relax a little then...maybe.

I'll rest when I am 99 yrs old...there is to much of the world to see to rest now...

It is a doozy .. I am surprised Chuck never told you.. and this whole time I thought he told you everything...
She only has to wear the costume and the hat. she'll already be wearing her tights seeing as she is Robin Hood ( or so she thinks)

We do enjoy being active BUT don't do the VERY late party thing too much any longer ... especially, if the next day is a port day!

Too, too funny!! I can not wait to see this one!! We are on the go, go, go at home, so when we are on vacation, Steve likes to sleep in and relax. On a ship might be different for him, I don't know! With a balcony, I will be able to read quite happily while he sleeps in. I want to book excursions because we've never been to these places and I want to try new things (like scuba, visiting an orphanage). We aren't really into the drinking and partying scene, though I do like fru-frus and he likes his bud

Can't wait until we fly out on Jan. 20!!
