My wife and I are both in good shape with passports. She just renewed hers on the last cruise in 2005 and I have 5 years to go on mine,

We bit the bullet early last year before the deadline of Dec 2005 was moved to 2006. Used it last year and it was much eaiser to check in with. Glad we did it!

    Got mine in 1989

I got mine in 1989 for a college choir trip to Italy.

Great to have because I used it that fall for a family trip to Europe and then Five years later a trip to Germany with my husband. Then I got it renewed in 2001 for trip to Rome.

We started cruising again in 2003 and always brought them with us on the cruises. Just a lot easier to carry along.

We went ahead and got them for the kids before this last cruise, again for the simplicity of having one form of ID. We knew we needed them soon anyway.

We got ours last year before our Oct cruise. Knew we'd need them sooner or later and were'nt sure if we really needed for one of the ports.

It definitely does make it easier checking in to cruise and once home again.

We have the forms, just need to find the time to go to the post office to submit them.

Had to get one to go to Costa Rica and Fanning Island 3 years ago. Got it just before the price went up and I'm glad I don't have to get in the "rush" now.
