I think the ship should be positioned in the south pacific just inside the international date line so it could be the first place to celebrate new years. Then, it could sail East and over the date line, so that about 23 hours later, it could celebrate again and be the last place the celebrates it. Two New Years celebrations on a single cruise
My NCL cruise celebrated New Year twice, OK it was twice within the hour, but it was still twice

As we sailed to Buenos Aires, Costa Romantica sailed past going to Montevideo. We were around 100ft apart and partying like crazy on both ships, trying to outdo each other in the noise levels...it was fantastic!

Yep if the price was right. I wouldn't have to worry about drunk drivers!

Let's see...

The ship is beautifully decorated
The food was extra special
There was carolling in the atrium on Christmas Eve and a general feeling of good will
We were greeted with complimentary Eggnog (spiked or plain) on Christmas morning as we waited for breakfast
Santa came and brought a goft for all the children
Christmas day at sea was like being in a in some sort of surreal, timeless bubble

We liked it
