I think the ship should be positioned in the south pacific just inside the international date line so it could be the first place to celebrate new years. My NCL cruise celebrated New Year twice, OK it was twice within the hour, but it was still twice
As we sailed to Buenos Aires, Costa Romantica sailed past going to Montevideo. We were around 100ft apart and partying like crazy on both ships, trying to outdo each other in the noise levels...it was fantastic!
