Carnival by far has better food in the dining rooms. RCCL's food was very deceiving. Not good at all.....

There has been a big turnaround the last 3-5 years.
As of now, I would say that Carnival wins by a substantial margin. I'm basing this on a wide variety of ships and cruise lengths from both lines.
I actually thought the food was better on my 4 night Paradise cruise than either my 7 night Mariner cruise or my 15 night Serenade cruise. The beef dishes were where Carnival was very much better.

Can't vote -- never sailed on Carnival.

Sailed only once on RCI -- were not empressed by them.
