Do you like to repeat cruise destinations?

When choosing a cruise, do you like to go back to places you've been before? Or do you like trying a new itinerary each time?

    Again both............

We would do Hawaii anytime we could and do the Panama Canal anytime we could............but we are kinda burned out on the Western Caribbean right now.........so itinerary does factor in our choice of cruises.

I have found what I don't like is continually doing the same ship on the same itinerary........I thiink it is better if you are doing the same itinerary to at least try and have a different ship.

All the time. We've been on the same cruise twice and have it booked again.

I have never repeated a destination...curiosity keeps me wanting to see what else is out there! But after I see all the places I especially want to see I will probably go back to some favorites.

Tend to agree..............we like seeing new places we have never been......but some places stand out and register in your mind.........I have to go back.

I would love to cruise all over the world, but it's cost prohibitive for us. We can cruise out of Galveston very economically. We love cruising so this works out well for us. We find that we enjoy the ship more than the ports anyway. I think if I really wanted to visit a 'place' then I would do a land vacation. For me the ports are a sideline.

Both answers apply to us. We've gone to Grand Cayman and Cozumel several times already.

The only cruise I've done a repeat of is Alaska and I think most of you know why that is, if you don't you can check out the "Why Alaska?" thread.

Other than that I always choose a new destination and itinerary. I have such limited vacation time, I wouldn't want to go to the same place over and over again!

We like to get in at least one new stop on each cruise, but anymore that's getting much harder... We unfortunately have to hit the same old places...
