What was your favorite (most exciting, most romantic, most informative, most fun, etc) shore excursion you've ever done?

THL, ours was swimming the stingrays in the Caymans. It was fun, exciting, but not terribly romantic. Had a blast, acted like little kids when they do their first of something that is exciting. Would do it again in a
    New York Minute.

This is a hard one ... we've really had some wonderful excursions. Probably the Coffee plantation tour we went on in Costa Rica was my favorite.

Hanna ... we are booked for stingray city this coming January. I hope we make it to Cayman. We've missed that port twice now.

I LOVE stingrays! We did that in Tahiti and it was so fun. I was surprised how touchey feeley and interactive they are. They crawled up us like they were trying to sit in our laps, and they touched our legs underwater with their wings each time they swam by. There was one girl in our group that was so freaked out by all this she climbed up on the shoulders of the guide, begging him to save her from the monsters.

Monaco! We had been there twice before while traveling in Europe and loved it then. But on our Med cruise we took an excursion into Monaco while the city was preparing for the big automobile race. It was a totally different city than we had seen before. Excitement was in the air, the bleachers were up and the roads were marked. There were officials all over the place making sure things were in order. I loved the feel of the city during that day. Perhaps those who had never been there before were disappointed at all the hustle and bustle, but we really enjoyed ourselves.

KathyB, our next cruise sails out of Monaco and I can't wait to see it! We booked a pre-stay at the hotel Le Meridien so we could have a day and night to see Monte Carlo before boarding the ship. What did you do and see when you were there? If you had only a short time to visit, what are the must-see things?

It was probably the rainforest tour in Dominica I took on our cruise about a month ago. It was one of the funnest and best experiences.
