Thread: Have You Noticed?

At the top of most of our port threads you'll find stiky threads - Webcams and Weather.

The cams are fun and
The weather is real time.

What do you think of this feature? Is it useful?

Sheila, I think it's good to have both features there.

I noticed it a few days ago. Very convenient and informativie. You don't think about clicking around and finding the information the hard way, but to have it rught at hand is very convenient.

I was hoping people would like it, but I'm not sure how many have actually noticed it.

I was just checking out the Vancouver cam as I was on the Princess website looking at the bridgecams and there was something out of wrack about the Sapphire Princess (the caption screwed up so you couldn't read it) and hubby said the cam's been screwed up for a few days (he checks 'em too). I checked cruisecal.com and discovered the Sapphire is at Canada Place right now.

There are problems with web cams in general, yes. one of another of them is ALWAYS messed up, off line, moved to a new URL, or something.

The weather strips are a lot more reliable, and, IMO, useful.

But a lot of people prefer pictures to actual data.

I would imagine someone at Princess will see that a caption is messed up. I think the cam on princess.com is showing Skagway still.

So - I am not sure I understand...

Are you saying the webcam posted on the CLF Vancouver forum is not of showing Vancouver, but Canada Place?

Or, are you talking about a cam from the ship on the Princess website?
