Seems to me I read many years ago it was the Norwalk virus which originally reared its ugly head in Norwalk, Ohio.

Very poor article!
Never talked about how people get it, where the get it, and the fact that cruise lines are the only ones required to report it to CDC even though people get it in other places more often than cruise ships.
If you're going to do a report on a subject, do a complete report and not just do a half-ass job of it so people are afraid to cruise!!

Actually I thought the article was quite fair. Notice she said that it was less common in ships than elsewhere and she got it more probably from the supermarket.
Here husband got IV's free? Obviously not on Holland America.
