You think?? Or will it work both ways. If a call is made about an issue in the cabin next door, and the knock and no one answers and they can hear a problem............. Also if you look out and see a crew member would you open the door, many crimes are commited by crew.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

My thing is people are on a cruise ship on vacation and just aren't aware they are on a ship the size of a small city. You have no idea who anyone is on board, or their intentions. You always have to be aware of your surroundings even during the day and especially at night. One afternoon while sitting on the aft deck with my daughter and grandchildren a few years back, a middle aged man, also sitting back there beghind us, walked right up to us and knelt down next to my 12 year old grandaughter and asked her if he could kiss her ankle. It did not go well for him.Thank goodness there were crew around and he was taken away buy three officers. We were not quiet and got their attention immediately.

EEEK, Sue! How weird is that!!!!

Also, you're right on the crew members! Often, they are the ones who commit the crimes ....

Surveillance Cameras: Very much wish ALL cruise ships would have these in EVERY hallway and in EVERY elevator!

Not sure I want a law passed that requires this. Just wish cruise lines would do it!

I believe that cruise lines have already started retrofitting peep holes.

Yes, that's how I interpreted it. It's just like the ones on your house door. Why would you want a peep hole that shows both ways? Someone from outside can look into your peep hole and see you undressing in your cabin.

I don't want it to go either way Ken, they do not specify. The doors are metal. If they did go both ways, you can check that yourself, you can get a big magnet and cover the thing on the inside for privacy.
