The British Travel Awards were held last night at London's Battllesea Evolution. Walking away with top honors were Cunard Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean.

Cunard won "Cruise Line of the Year"

Royal Caribbean won "Best Mainstream Cruise Line"

In a surprise win , Princess Cruises took home "Best Luxury Cruise Line"

Disney Cruise Lines won "Best Niche Cruise"

Yes, I thought that was an interesting difference in the ranking system for a British travel award, versus an American one.

Is Princess considered a luxury cruise line in the US?
