

Actually the doctors get continuing education credit for some of those courses. By putting them in an interesting setting they make them more palatable (and more of a perk than a chore)

Yes, convenience is expensive. How about the ones that they have at golfing resorts? In the morning they have a three hour lecture on a new procedure using equipment from a specific manufacture or pharmaceutical company, then they have the afternoon free to play golf.
