Four police officers, one other hurt in shooting

Five persons, including four police officers, were shot this afternoon at a police station in Fairfax County.
The incident happened at about 4 p.m. at the Sully District Station in the 4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard in Chantilly.
Initial reports, according to WRC-TV (Channel 4), say that a person with a rifle began shooting at the station. Unconfirmed reports said two officers were in critical condition.
Police were looking for for a white Ford F-250 pickup truck that could have been involved in the shootings.The truck has Virginia plates JPK 8892.
Mary Ann Jennings, a police spokeswoman, said authorities did not know how seriously injured the victims were.
"We had a shooting situation, we're trying to figure out what happened, why it happened," she said.

This morning I saw on the news that the "suspect" had been waiting outside for the shift change, so that he could have more targets. When that happens, I hate the use of the word "suspect". He Is KNOWN!!!

I had an email off them today, thanks John

They are both fine. The hotel they were in was cut off by landslides but no-one was hurt fortunately and they are now back home on Long Island. They appreciated our concern for their safety and send their thanks.

A 34 year old female Family Law attorney was abducted at gunpoint near her law office in Birmingham Alabama, and forced into her Lexus Suv. So far she has gone to three ATM's to deduct cash!! There may be surveilance tapes of the abduction and at the ATM's.
