Vote for the Best Private Island!

Which of the Cruise Line 'Private Islands' do you think is best, and why?

If you have a hard time deciding because you've really, really, really enjoyed more than one, and just can't decide which is the absolute tops, you can vote for more than one.

Been to them all, except Castaway Cay, and I have to say that Half Moon Cay is our all-time favorite. Absolutely beautiful!

I LOVE Half Moon Cay. Not only is it beautiful, but it has been protected and there is great snorkeling there. It is truly paradise.

However, I also voted for 'the one I'm at' since, frankly, I'd be happy on any private island. Give me sand, sun and surf and I'm a happy woman.

Man, Pete...you have been to each one of these islands...WOW!

I am sorry to say Ihave yet to visit any of them...but I did get the chance to visit Ni Hau in Hawaii. That was pretty cool. It was a very quick visit, though.

Glad to have someone with all that experience around this place.

Pete - would love to see your input on both the Half Moon Cay thread and the Great Stirrup Cay thread ... I haven't been to either of those, so am no help there.

In fact, I have ONLY been to CocoCay - which is one of my most favorite places on the planet.

In October, I'll get to see Princess Cays for the first time.

Was supposed to FINALLY get to Labadee late this year, but TS Fay decided to tell me that new windows were more important than a cruise. So, Labadee will have to wait until another year.

Loved that some beach locations at CoCoCay have soft white sand with no need for water shoes. The water was sooooooooo BLUE and the waves were gentle. Ours was very close to a bar and had no problem getting a beach chair under the shade of palm trees ... just steps from the beach!

Yes, I agree, there's something for everyone there.

If you want 'action,' there's action - bands, vollyeball tournaments, jet skis, water toys, and on and one.

Snorkeling is pretty good, too. (Not fabulous, but very acceptable)

If you want a quiet, relaxing beach, just walk a little farther, and that's just what you'll find.
