Thread: Ladies! What Color Is Your Formal and What Length Is it?

I'm just curious to know what colors and styles the ladies are wearing on formal night (if you do formal nights that is).

Hi Patty!! My formals are both long, short, and mid calf!! Most of them are black, lightweight, and I love strappy, comfy, I have a few velvet, and only one sequine, and one black velvet with sparce swarvorski crystals on it!!

Hmmm... Well, I have several to choose from:

1) A red Crepe two piece with scarved hem and rhinestone clip that gathers the neckline onthe collarbone

2) A basic black linen A line cocktail with matching coat
-- (sometimes pair this with a turquoise sholder wrap and put hubby in dark suit and turquoise tie... this when he isn't in the tux mood)

3) A bronze taffeta fullish full-length skirt with multicolored braid at the bottom paired with a sequined top with muted florals in the colors of the braid

4) A Deep red velvet knee length with long sleves (for Christmas or Valentine's cruises)

5) A Dark Green Velvet calf length skirt (slim) and matching top (sleeveless) with darker green beaded trim

I think that's all, but -

6) coming soon... a simple sage full length crepe (I think) with cowl neck and cap sleeves.

Does anyone else have a Formal dress that is just sooooooooooo comfy that you wonder what you're going to do when it has finally seen "better days"!

Mine are normally black and floor length.

I did, it became a nighty, and I have another one!!!

Well mine are all floor length but as for color it depends what size I am I have several dresses for formal nights that range in numerous sizes. My most recent is Black and White



And this one that is black and turquoise.
