    Sheffie, good information

I second the idea of cross packing into one or more suitcases. So DH doesn't have to wear my gown to dinner.

Never ever ever ever ever pack your jewelry, meds, cameras, passports, tickets, or anything of value or lifesaving in your luggage. Save that for your carry on. Most luggage now cannot be locked. So really, nothing is safe anymore inside your suitcase.

I pack 1 pair of shoes for formal night. One walking pair, one sandal pair, and that's it
I wear my sandals with my Salwar Kameez (Indian pants/shirt outfits) and that's about it. No one hardly looks at your feet. Sometimes I even wear my sandals with my sarees

Bottom line, you'll need 1/2 the clothes you ended up packing and 3x the money you ended up taking

    Great advice!!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
