Will I need a tuxedo a cruise?
Will I need a tuxedo a cruise?
On formal nights, the cruislines suggest a tux or a suit and tie for the men, and gowns, or dressy dresses or pants, for the women.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
In a word NO..............you don't NEED one...........and they are becoming less and less with each passing year. This was a basic answer to your question, not debating the merits of formal night.![]()
But.....There is nothing sexier than a man in a tux on formal night!!![]()

mmmmm. Oh, yes - a man iin a tux is to die for!
As a general rule, the longer the cruise, the greater percentage of men you will see in tuxedoes.
They are very much in the minority these days on most of the short 3 and 4 day ones.
But on our recent 11-day cruise, I'd say there may have been slightly more tuxes than dark suits on formal night.
You go Carol!!!!!!
