    Toga to go please

Will the ship provide me with a sheet for my Toga or must I bring something with me in my luggage? Ok, I now know how to tie a toga but don't know were to get it. I have tried a pillow case as a backup plan, but it does may not be acceptable. Help. Lee

    Hey Lee!

Not sure which cruiselines still have Toga Parties. Royal Caribbean does not...at least in all the cruises we have sailed with them they didn't have one.

Maybe someone who has actually participated in a Toga Party can answer that burning question.

(I don't think a pillowcase will work unless you are one of the 7 Dwarfs. )

Lee, I think Costa still does Toga parties.
You might want to ask your cabin steward to provide you with some sheets for your toga. Like Char said, I dont think a pillowcase will do the trick

On Costa they provide the sheets which they place in your cabin the day of the party ... along with an instruction sheet on how to tie one for those who don't already know.

    Toga Party!

Thanks to all of you for your replies. I thought I read about a toga party on the BOS recently. Looks like I am wrong. I am glad I asked. I would hate to be the only one walking around the ship in a toga. Lee

Lee .... If you're on a RCCL ship, you would probably be the ONLY one.

Lee, Costa Cruise Lines is the only line which has a Toga Party on Caribbean sailings only. It is held on the last night of your cruise and they provide the sheets and head piece complete with instructions that morning. We were on the Costa Magica in 2007 on an Eastern Caribbean itinerary.

Hehe, that'll be too funny, Lee. Only Costa have those parties in the Caribbean.
