Oh I'm so jealous! I love Alaska!

I don't know if you are male or female, but the basics are the same for either. Pack to layer....it will warm up a little as the day goes on.

You never know what the weather will be and it is so changeable. Expect some showers. We always take the cheap disposable ponchos.

2 or 3 long sleeved knit pullover shirts that you can add a sweater or windbreaker (or both!)

A few short sleeved shirts, long pants. Jeans are heavy to pack and they also get damp and uncomfortable, so I don't recommend jeans.

A windbreaker for sure. If you are going to be near the glaciers it will be cold and I always take gloves and a head covering.

Here's what the Hubbard Glacier looks like and what I'm wearing while on deck.

Be sure to take your sun glasses. The snow and ice can be blinding. Chap stick or some kind of lip balm is also a good item to pack.

    Enjoy your cruise.

I am going on a singles cruise. What do I wear to the cocktail parties?

I would assume you would wear a cocktail dress or nicer pants outfit. Just because the cruise goes to Alaska doesn't mean the party dress would be any different than a Caribbean cruise.

What cruise line? I am assuming you are female, but I could be wrong. Are you male or female?
