Thread: Leg Shaving

I hate waiting around with that stuff on my legs, but at least there's faster acting creams.

3 minutes does it for me. I usually pluck my eyebrows while I'm waiting......multi tasking!

Interesting addenda for everyone. HAL does not offer leg waxing onboard their ships. Surpized the heck out of Deb.

Nope, I go and get them waxed the day before we leave It isn't cheap but it is so nice to not have to worry about it and I find it nearly impossible to shave them in the showers on the ships.

I don't shave mine every day....age and growing slower I guess. I do shave in the shower which is not easy in those ship showers! A few years ago I started opening the curten and sticking a leg out to shave and then the other. Found out that works pretty good and I am much more stable as the ship rocks to and fro!!! There is an advantage to a compact bathroom! tee hee

Too funny! Same as you, Carol ... exactly what I do if I only have a shower!

I never would have thought of Nair. The last time I used that was probably 10 years ago- before my mom let me actually shave (had to wait until I was 14). I might do that when we hit the Splendor in January. Otherwise, I usually shave every other day on a cruise- not every day.

I'm in the senior group, so i do not shave everyday on the ship....just every other day. But I do use "Magic" (a depilatory) on the bikini area before I cruise!

I shave EVERY thing every day. Never know, I might get drunk and end up on one of those nude beaches. Need to be prepared, just in case...
