Thread: Stockings/pantyhose for formal nights

Depends on WHAT I'm wearing!

I don't pack any nylons/stockings with me on my cruises. I make sure my legs are nicely tanned before leaving the cruise. As for wearing open-toed shoes, girls, make sure your feet are looking good and please, I beg of you, please make sure you have nail polish on your toes.

Don't worry about me. I always have polish on my toes. In fact a pedicure the day before a cruise is a must for me.

I'm of the old school--yes to stockings (panty hose or knee hi's) when wearing dressy clothes. I don't think I look "finished" with bare legs and/or feet, even if they are tan and toes polished.

I always bring them with me. Sometimes I use them and sometimes I don't. It depends on the weather, if I have a sunburn, if the dress is long or if I need to suck the fat in.

since you have heard all you can stand on panyhose and open or closed toe shoes...make your legs are shaved and polish on the toes...and then go however you want...it is YOUR VACATION...and the fashion police will not give you a ticket!

let me ask this? when you mention stockings, are you referring to thigh highs or stockings you would wear with a corset or a garter belt? pantyhose and stockings are a bit different obviously. When my wife is dressed for work or if she is dressed more casual she may wear pantyhose but for more formal occasions, she will wear stockings with a garter belt or thigh highs.

Same thing, different method of holding them up. Your wife must dress up for YOU if she wears a garter belt! They are not comfortable...never were comfortable and the garters show thru any clingy fabric. Thigh highs also show a ridge at the top where they "hold on" to the thigh. To each his own

I agree with Char about the garter belt. Your wife definitely wears it JUST FOR YOU. So when you see her wearing that, she's sending you a private message. Many a married man would be very happy if their wife wore something like that.

I don't seem to have any luck with thigh highs...they tend to creep down on me.
