    It turns out that the press might have exaggerated the Filipino president's words. Filipino crew members will indeed be allowed to sail through Suez as long as their ship stays within the prescribed channels and does not stray.

    Yes, that is indeed great news and changes the picture slightly.

    Still, I find it irresponsible that cruise lines sends their ships through the area. Unfortunatly I dont think it will stop before a cruise ship will be taken by the pirates.
