Thread: Security/ surveillance Positions Info??

Hello All,

Im looking for a Security / Surveillance position aboard one of the cruise ships. Can anyone tell me if they hire directly or use some type of hiring agency for these positions? I have alot of experience in a casino doing both along with Law Enforcement training, have found one job posted for RCCL but still cant find any positions in these fields for the other cruise lines mainly NCL and Carnival. Also is there a typical length of time to hear something back from them. Any help, tips or info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I worked for rccl for a while in their casino. They didn't have any surveilance positions or security as the casino manager usually stayed in the office with the cameras unlike a large land based operation. None of the ships i have worked on have had surveilance as a position in the casino.
