I was waiting for this one!!!! Well people have been caught on the sun deck on the loungers by the pool. They were caught by the cleaning staff and they didnt stop what they were doing and they were completely naked. 2 passengers caught in the crew stair case by security. And my personal favourite......in the middle of the stage in the theatre....these 2 did not stop when caught by the night cleaners and were also completely naked. They only left the theatre when security was called in and shone torches on them. They put there robes on and left laughing. These were not naughty teenagers either...try in there 70's.

hi!

im here hoping to find a little advice.

im attending a hire day for image a photography concession im sure some of you might have heard of in about a weeks time.

i managed and worked for in a studio for the family portrait company olan mills for 4 years so have the photography experience though i hear most are taken on as junior photographers and arent actually involved in the taking of photographs for some time if not the whole of the first contract.

i have a few friends and family members that have worked on various cruiselines but none as photographers.

ive quickly been made aware of the crazy working hours as well as low pay and though i have heard more cons than pros i was hoping that someone who has actually worked in this role and/or perhaps for image could give me a bit more of a direct insight!?

actual working hours, pay, free time, duties of a junior or anything else that might spring to mind would be much appreciated!

thanks

holly

How did you obtain your positions? Our 23 year old daughter would like an entry level job either in retail, houskeeping or guest relations.

Wink Welcome and some questions...

Hi Danielle.. of course I was waiting for a person who guide me through some specifically questions I need response to.

My professional knowledge right now is in the computer area (Technical), I’ve been doing my research and I’ve found that maybe I can work as a Computer Specialist, that job is good but requires (I think, I’m not certainly sure) too much contact with passengers, right now I need to improve my listening English skills, so I think that maybe in my very first contract I’ll need a job that has not too much contact with passengers while I train my ears =). What can you tell me about this? What do you know about the tasks of a Computer Specialist onboard, has my English to be perfect in order to work on that position?

Another questions:
-What can you tell me about the cruise lines, what are the best to work with?

Thank you so much for all the information you can bring me¡

Hugs,
Logan.
