    HAL Offering Free & Reduced 3rd & 4th

    This just announced by Holland America that they are offering free and reduced pricing for the 3rd and 4th passenger in the same cabin on select sailings.

    I guess that's good, but where would the extra bed(s) fit in those already too small cabins? Or are we only talking suites? I guess I am not understanding.

    They would have sofa beds or possibly the bunks that drop down from the ceiling or wall. Not the best arrangement, but for families with children it would work out better than for 3 or 4 adults sharing the space.

    I'm not sure I would want to do 4 adults in a cabin either - if you weren't really good friends when you went in, you'd be really good enemies when you came out! lol

    But if you have small children or don't mind sharing a cabin, these are really good rates.

    As Char said, depending on the cabin, the 3rd and 4th would either share a fold-out couch or there would be bunk beds that come down out of the ceiling.
