Coming up: Celebrity Millennium Wine Cruise(9/17/10), Celebrity Century(1/15/11) and Celebrity Eclipse Italian Mediterranean(7/2/11)
I like the name "Conquest" the best and not just because I am going on her next. I just like single word names such as Millinium, Destiny, etc. I really am sick and tired of the RCCL names with the "of the seas" after each one. Having it on a few is ok, but not every single one. The worst name possible for a Cruise Ship would be "The Sinker".![]()

Cruisecat, I loved your comment about "of the Seas"![]()
I see your favorite cruise line is Carniaval. Hee Hee![]()
My favorite cruise line is "of the seas" so I can smile and get a kick out of the observation...![]()
I was trying to think of another way RCI could name their ships, rather than "of the seas". They would have to do something unique, now that another cruise line is borrowing some of RCI's names (Splendour aka Splendor)
Maybe that could make an interesting thread... my mind is racing with possibilities. Where is Neal when we need him?

I really don't like cruise lines using the same names for ships. I want to simply state "Freedom" and not have to clarify if I mean Freedom of the Seas or Carnival Freedom.
