Interesting idea but that would take too much of the available deck space. Those that would want to lay in the sun would not be too happy.
It only shows, at best, about 50 feet of elevation, not much really.
No way there would need 2 lifts.
Some sort of artificial slope would be more practical, maybe a conveyor belt of some sort moving up as you ski down. .

They can't be serious. I would think that the amount of space used would not justify such a minimal return. They would have to use an artificial snow surface. Most of the ones I know of are very hard (more like ice than snow). Ever been skiing on ice? It is not pleasant and falling HURTS!)
