Australia? New Zealand or the Pacific

Australia started being out the big drawcard to the region with ports such as Sydney, Cairns, Port Douglas, Melbourne taking guests to ports that showcase the best of Australia - our wildlife, the Great Barrier Reef, wineries, beaches and the Opera House.

Then our little sister New Zealand came onto the scene and with Lord of the Rings all of a sudden everyone know about the wild, stunning and amazing scenery that the newest country in the world had to offer. With a mix of city ports and country towns such as Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga & Akaroa the number of cruise ships visiting the region has rapidly grown.

But then who can forget our glamorous neighbours - Tahiti, Fiji, New Caledonia the islands of the Tropical South Pacific, with turquoise waters, white sands, colorful fish and unique island culture.

So with these three fabulous options which one would you choose??

We would love to visit the Land Down Under one day. A few years ago I checked out the airfare and it was way more than the cruise itself. But then that was around the holidays, which would be the only time we could travel during our winter due to our girl's school schedule. So maybe one day when she's in college (hopefully on a scholarship) or after that, so just the two of us can go.

Hope, good poll. A year ago, I was in Australia enjoying the Great Barrier Reef and Sydney prior to embarking on my cruise of Australia and New Zealand. At the time, my thoughts were while there, why not see both countries. They are both so different and wonderful and exciting in their own ways. Next time, I would probably fly to NZ spend a few weeks on land, then either cruise or fly to Australia and stay there a month. Both countries have so much to offer.

cruisin' chick, airfares aren't going to get cheaper. Go!!!
