    Disney Dream vs Carnival Magic

Both cruises are for 2 Adults and 1 Child in November2011.

    Both are with inside staterooms.

Disney Dream - 3 Night Bahamas:
    389.00 $ PP + Taxes and Fees = 1,217.16 $.

Carnival Magic - 6 Night Caribbean:
    Fun Select: 629.00 $ PP + Taxes and Fees = 1,703.47 $.
    Early Saver: 509.00 $ PP + Taxes and Fees = 1,393.47 $.

Carnival has double the cruise length, and around the same price for DCL's 3 Night.

This is giving me some ideas.

Definitely comparing apples to oranges on this one. They are completely different in every way.

Besides comparing 2 dfifferent products, keep in mind that if you go with the Early Saver rate (on the Carnival Magic), your deposit is non-refundable.

No apologies needed Curtis! You should know the differences between those 2 cruise lines.

They are not created equal and they each have their plusses and minuses.

Being 14 with only 1 cruise under your belt...that being Carnival and your next cruise booked on Disney....you should ask questions to determine what those differences are.

That's kind of what I'm here wandering around looking for -- my only cruise experience so far has been with Carnival (which I LOVED), but this year we're going on Disney... so I'm expecting differences, but not sure what yet! The "virtual tour" of the ship shows the staterooms are mighty impressive on Disney -- what other differences will there be?

Another difference? Lots and lots of kids and families and no casino.
