well we usually do not take insurance. We have a private travel insurance and they cover for a lot of things ( loss of your job, no vacation, death,hospital ..... ) so hopefully this cover our cruise.

Freida, it will be better to be safe than sorry. Definitely check ahead of time to see if your private travel insurance will cover your cruise.
