What I guess I meant with this thread was the fact that some of the cruise lines actually acknowledge the fact that todlers don't eat much of anything! If they eat at all...loll..they don't charge the full 3rd or 4th passenger rate.

All cruise lines offer a lower price for 3rd and 4th passengers...but not all give a HUGE discount for kids...generally under 3...except Disney which prorates at different age levels.

Royal Caribbean does charge the 3rd or 4th passenger fare for the infants and toddlers...been there done that...we had a Family stateroom back in 2003 on the Voyager...the 3 kids all paid the same rate and the baby had just turned one...had I known back then...I would have sailed NCL or Costa...ice rink or not, lol.

Carnival also charges kids the 3rd or 4th passenger rate for being the 3rd or 4th in the room...regardless of age...I have called and checked and they laugh when I ask, lol...hmmm, isn't Costa with Carnival? Costa offer free sailings and stuff.

    Oh well....

LMAO Neal! If we were still together it would be VERY easy to go on a couple of cruises a year with the kids! As a lawyer she makes the big bucks.

    Dolores,

Thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for. I always thought the youngsters paid pretty much the same as an adult in similar circumstances (i.e., 3rd in room, etc.)

    Frubal coming your way.
