Thanks to all you Fruballers for directing me to the info describing same. Thanks again.

the part about the ''non smoking section'' being between 2 smoking bars,,, ,, I think it was someone here in these forums that said: ''A non smoking section in a restaurant is like a non peeing section in a swimming pool''. HA! HA! True true!!!

Sorry. I am not trying to start a debate here. I thought I would include that because it is hillarious.

Here is an article that was written in April that has a LOT of info on the smoking policies of different cruise lines.

Places that allow smoking on water are harder to find

I have heard that some ships allow balcony smoking on one side of the ship or the other only. Anyone heard of this? Although non smoking has a good ring to it, I would not mind having a balcony on one side or the other if it means no smoke while enjoying the scenary.

Celebrity does not allow smoking in the cabin OR on the balcony.

This is from the Celebrity web site:

What is your onboard smoking policy?
Subject: Ship and Stateroom Details

For all Celebrity ships, smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom or on any stateroom veranda. Cigarette smoking will only be permitted in designated indoor and outdoor areas of the ship, while cigar and pipe smoking will only be permitted in designated outdoor areas. Smoking will not be permitted in any dining venue, casino, theater, hallway, elevator or corridor. Violations to this smoking policy will result in a $250 cleaning fee being charged to the guest's onboard account and may also be addressed through Celebrity Cruises' Guest Conduct Policy. Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. A guest must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.

Additionally, there is a non-smoking policy on all components of the land tour portion of all Celebrity Cruises cruisetour products. We appreciate your understanding and adherence.

Don't see this mentioned ... but ....

REGENT is another non-smokers should consider!

It's also one smokers should reconsider prior to booking ....

Wonderful, we can discuss smoking on CLF without any flaming! Both smokers and non-smokers just want to know what is best for them.
