Thread: The Monarch and the Sovereign

Port Canaveral will be losing our well-loved Sovereign of the Seas later this year. In her place, we'll get her sister ship, the Monarch of the Seas.

Of course, these ships would have almost identical layouts, since they ARE sister ships, but I'm wondering if there are any noticeable differences that anyone can tell us about.

Has anyone been on both ships? If so, what can you tell us in the way of a comparison of the two?

I am interested too. I loved the Sovereign when we cruised her and I am looking forward to MacKenzie's birthday cruise to be on the Monarch.

I do know that the Monarch does not have Johnny Rockets and they have no plans to add one but I am hoping they change their minds.

Johnny Rockets is fun... but we don't make it there every time we're on the Sov... It's one of those options that's nice to have, but it's strictly that - an option.
