NCL Seaward 1992 It took me 10 years to want to cruise again
DCL Wonder 2003 my entire family fell in love with Disney. fell in love with Palo
RCCL Soverign 2004 loved the Martini/Champagne Bar
DCL Magic 2004 Loved the itinerary, ship, the food and the Disney experience
DCL Wonder 2005 without children had a good cruise and Disney does go out of their way to entertain adults
RCCL Freedom of the Seas 2006 LOVED THE SHIP~loved Chops
Carnival fell in love with the room size, the food, the bathrobes usage in the rooms and the amenities basket. We loved it so much we have been on two in one year and another booked this year.
RCCL - Explorer Of Seas - Location, Casino (however pissed no "real" poker table), Chamber, I liked the food in main dining, price, planned itinerary, A+ Service, nice clean rooms, shows were great, Dave Chapman was CD, he was Perfect!!
Carnival - Food all night, ship was nicer then what people made out, crowd on my ship was older and more country freaks (was a teamed cruise - country music), very relaxed staff. Inside rooms were small.
**To whoever said they hated Port Liberty... In case you did not know, Bayonne, NJ is kinda the ghetto, and right next to Newark NJ.. Lucky the ship has not been stolen yet HA!! It is meant for locals, and people flying in, stay in hotel, get to ship..
Next Cruise January 16th, 2010 - Oasis of the Seas!
I thought the cruise ship terminals were in an industrial type of area. When I'm traveling on the NJTPK or Verrazano Bridge, it looks like the Turnpike separates the industrial area from the residential area. I always see the cargo trailers getting of at 14 B & C heading that way. I've never been of NJTPK at those exit. If I ever cruised out of Bayonne or Cape Liberty or whatever they're calling it, I would take the train into Newark and get a taxi to the port.
COSTA: Enjoyed ... but it's been a while. Unfortunalely, they do their Caribbean cruises out of Miami. That's the only reason we haven't sailed with them lately!
LuLu, Costa Caribbean cruises depart from Ft. Lauderdale only, not Miami.
For everyones info., For the first time in the 2009 -2010 winter season, Costa will be departing from New York sailing New England/Canada Fall cruises between N.Y and Quebec, Canada.
LuLu, Costa's Caribbean cruises depart from Ft. Lauderdale only, not Miami.
Thanks you! Now, I'll be able to consider a Costa Cruise!
LuLu ... Visit SOUTH CAROLINA!
